Experienced Denver Doula + Photographer

The Journey
1. Connect
Reaching out is the first step in our journey together, and I understand it may feel daunting. But let me assure you, taking that initial leap can be the hardest part of our process. After that, we’re likely to become fast friends as we navigate one of the most beautiful and intimate experiences in your life.
When you reach out, we’ll discuss your needs and expectations, which helps me tailor my services to fit your unique family story. From there I will send over my contract and invoice for deposit and your “due date” will be secured on my calendar!
2. Pregnancy Support
Doula + Photography clients— Once your “due date” is secured I offer unlimited phone and email support.
During our prenatal meetings, we will work collaboratively to gather evidence-based research to help you make informed decisions. I will teach you and your partner essential coping skills and pain relief techniques, reinforcing the belief that you CAN do this. Your intuition is your strongest ally, and I’ll be there to remind you to listen to it throughout the journey.
Photography clients— At 37 weeks we will meet either in person or virtually to go over your expectations for birth photography, your MUST have shots and things you’d rather not have documented. We will also cover logistics like when to contact me
3. On call at 37 weeks
My on-call period “technically” begins at 37 weeks. However, I always tell my clients that in reality I am on call as soon as you hire me. Being “on call” means my bags packed, camera batteries charged, and my phone ringer is on high, ensuring I'm ready to support your family at a moment's notice.
4. Your Birthing Day
When you are in labor— reach out! We will work collaboratively to decide when the best time is for me to come to you.
Doula + Photography clients— Upon arrival to the birthing space, I will intuitively navigate the rhythm of your labor. My role as a doulatog is fluid; I’ll actively engage when you need support, reassurance, or comfort, and step back for quiet observation and documentation when the moment calls for it. This delicate balance is deeply instinctual—knowing when to document those powerful moments and when to guide you through surges. This approach honors your sacred birthing space while preserving the memories you'll cherish forever.
Photography clients— I’ll arrive during active labor, ready to embrace the intensity and beauty of your journey. My aim is to capture every emotion, every breath, and every raw moment as you welcome new life. I understand these moments can be a whirlwind of sensations, and my presence will help you focus on the magic unfolding.
5. Postpartum + Delivery of Images
Doula + Photography Clients— I will stay for 2-3 hours postpartum to help facilitate everyone getting settled and comfortable.
In the following weeks, we will schedule your postpartum visit, ideally around four weeks after birth. During this visit, I will bring a delicious postpartum meal to nourish you. Together, we will process your birth experience, review the birth images + check in on how feeding your baby is going. I will also make sure to address the overall wellness of your family. This time is all about celebrating this new chapter and supporting you in any way I can.
Photography Clients— I’ll stay for 1-2 hours postpartum— continuing to document the love and tenderness in the room. Together, we’ll freeze those precious first moments to cherish forever.
Within the first few days of your birth I will deliver a handful of sneak peak images and your full gallery of final edits will be delivered within 4 weeks. I also find meeting virtually to process your birth and review birth images can be very helpful and I’m happy to offer this to my photography families as well!
